Electrolytic manganese Dioxide/EMD
Functions&performance:
Electrolytic manganese dioxide is the good depolarizator of battery, compared with the dry batteries made of natural discharged manganese dioxide, it has the features of greatly discharged capacity, great activity, small solidity, long life-span and so on .When mixed with 20%-30% EMD, the battery can discharge more 50%-100% than that made of natural MnO2 ; mixed with 50%-70% EMD, high performance Zinc chloride battery’s discharged capacity will increase 2-3 times; produced with EMD completely, alkaline manganese battery’s discharged capacity will increase 5-7times.Therefore,EMD is one of the most important raw materials in battery field.
Main Purpose:
Except for being the main raw material of battery , physical EMD can also be used in the other fields ,such as being oxidizer in the fine chemical industry processing ,the raw material of Zinc manganese metal oxide soft magnetic material .Electrolytic manganese dioxide has good capacity of catalysis, oxidation/reduction, ion exchanged and adsorption. After being treated and formed, it will be the good filter material with perfect performance. It works better than general active carbon and zeolite filter material.
